All bookings require a 50% non-refundable booking fee payable in advance for all treatments.
Any appointment times quoted in advance or on our booking button are appointment reservation times only and NOT necessarily treatment duration times.
A therapy hour includes consultations, derobing and redressing.
Gift voucher numbers may be quoted at time of booking to be used as a non-refundable 50% booking fee and will be subject to the Cancellation Policy terms and conditions below.
A payment link will be sent via email to be paid within 24 hours of payment request if you have booked via our contact form or by telephone.
Appointments scheduled with less than 24 hours notice will require immediate payment.
If this process has not been completed, your appointment will not be confirmed and will automatically expire and cancel.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months, non-refundable and not valid after expiry date specified. Any unused Gift Vouchers, either complete or part-used, that exceed the specified date will automatically expire and cancel.
To avoid disappointment, please enquire about availability at least 4-6 weeks in advance of your expiry date and ensure your treatment/service has been performed/redeemed in advance of the expiry date.
Nutmeg Spa Gift Vouchers are valid for both treatment services and wellness products available at Spa Reception.
It is not guaranteed that we can accommodate treatment appointments if notice has been left too late and we are subsequently fully booked, that is beyond our control and therefore wellness products may be an only option.
Please quote your gift voucher number when making a reservation or when inputting the code online for booking fees and bring your voucher code with you to your appointment if you are using it to pay the remaining balance outstanding. Failure to do so may result in an alternative payment method being required to use before you leave.

Please present your gift voucher card at Spa reception prior to receiving your treatment to avoid another payment transaction, temporary e-voucher receipts will not be accepted.
Nutmeg Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers and replacements will not be issued.
You may reschedule, amend or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance of your booking and any booking fee will be kept on your account for a maximum of 12 months only.
Failure to give at least 24 hours notice will result in the loss of the non-refundable booking fee.
This policy also extends to gift voucher reservations, as failure to adhere to the fair cancellation policy will also result in the appropriate deduction from the gift voucher value if you have allocated the code as your online booking fee.
Please arrive in plenty of time for your appointment to relax as time lost through your late arrival will result in a shortened or amended treatment being performed and full payment is due on completion without refund.
Please complete your consultation health form online and upload it prior to your arrival. If we do not have an up to date health form please arrive in plenty of time to complete one in Spa.
Should your therapist be running late for any unavoidable reason, we will still ensure your full treatment is performed.
A pay and display car park provides plenty of parking directly opposite the spa and payment may be by card/cash.
There is also high street parking in designated bays only for up to 1 hour.
A parking ticket will be issued if you have parked in the loading bay opposite.
By booking an appointment you have reserved our time and often more than one therapist and as a small business this is lost time and cannot be resold last minute.
Clients who are on the waiting list are equally let down.
If you do not show for your scheduled appointment, you will incur a non-cancellation charge of 50% of the value booked. Booking fees and gift voucher value will be lost and the charge will still be payable before future appointments will be accepted.
If you have more than one Failure to Show note, full payment in advance will be required to rebook and we reserve the right to refuse future requests.
Please maintain the spa ambience for other clients and silence your mobile phone before entering the spa and for the duration of your visit.
Staff may request you leave the premises if you do not respect the policy.
Nutmeg Spa retains the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime without notice or reason. We will refuse anyone displaying rude or aggressive behaviour, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, unfit for treatment or attempting to receive unprofessional services or owing previous unsettled charges.
Please make us aware of any relevant medical information at the time of booking as some treatments may be unsuitable or require adjusting.
No treatments will be performed on pregnant clients until after 12 weeks gestation.
Please follow any aftercare advise given by your therapist carefully to avoid any uncomfortable after effects.

Please note:
Some redness, slight irritation and small bumps are very common and are perfectly normal temporary reactions, especially if this is your first wax. These symptoms normally subside over 1-2 days following your treatment if you avoid heat and friction during this time. This means:
• Only washing & bathing with cool to lukewarm water
• Wearing clothes that are loose fitting
• Scheduling your wax appointment a couple of days before your holiday, and avoid sitting on an aeroplane in tight, skinny trousers
• No swimming in chlorinated pools
• No sunbathing, sunbeds or fake tanning lotion
• No hot tubs or saunas
• No scratching the treated area
To cool and calm the area, you may apply aloe vera gel or Sudacreme 2-3 times a day until any irritation has subsided.
You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so beause it can take several treatments for your hair to get onto a cycle that gives the best results. Please do not shave, tweeze or use hair removal cream between appointments as this interrupts the natural hair growth cycle.
Nutmeg Spa retains the right to withdraw any advertised offers or discounts at any time and the treatment menu and/or tariff may be subject to change without prior notice.
Please consider other clients are visiting to destress and relax, and therefore children under the age of 14 will not be able to accompany you to the spa.
Age restrictions also apply to receiving certain treatments. (please check with spa reception before booking)
Please make sure you take all your belongings including jewellery with you when you leave as Nutmeg Spa accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings on our premises.
